Each year, schools and public libraries across Australia spend a week celebrating books, Australian authors and illustrators. Teachers, Educators and librarians conduct activities relating to a theme to highlight the importance of reading. This year's theme was Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds.

During Book Week, Charley's Place Springwood celebrated reading through dress ups, activities and storytelling.
