The all new Charley’s Place centre at Redwood, between East Toowoomba and Rangeville has officially opened to students on the 7th of January, 2019.
As the newest addition to the Charley’s Place family, the Redwood Centre has introduced the groups first Forest School concept to the Toowoomba market.
“We were so excited to see the completion of the Redwood Centre in late 2018 and to now see students in attendance it’s such a great achievement for all of our staff and people involved in the centre completion” centre owner Pete Hewett said.
Built on their centres service pillars of play, education and success, the groups first centre in Toowoomba on Margaret Street along with Redwood’s all new state of the art facility have both been designed to encourage outdoor learning through interactive play.
“Forest School encourages children to use the outdoor environment to promote self-esteem and independence through small, achievable tasks” centre owner Jason Hewett said.
“Our Forest School sessions are all built and formulated around the curriculum and emphasise child-lead learning practices” Mr Hewett added.
Offering care for children aged 0-5, each room at Charely’s Place is customised for students from Nursery age through to Kindy. With qualified educators at each level, including Bachelor trained educators at our Kindy level.
Open from 6am-6pm daily, Charley’s Place encourage convenience and reassurance for parents with extended times, breakfast availability, uniform and welcome packs provided, cooked meals for children at all times and so many more added benefits!
